Criminal and Family Law

William W. Little II is a Staunton attorney whose practice includes criminal law and family law. He has operated his practice at the same location since 2008.

Criminally, Little regularly handles misdemeanors such as traffic violations including DUIs. Little also handles all types of felonies including drug possession and distribution cases. Little has successfully defended against many high level felonies including malicious wounding and attempted murder. Little has tried thousands of cases, including several jury trials. Little has a proven record for winning jury trials.

For family law, Little regularly handles divorces, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support as well as protective orders and other issues families regularly deal with.

Little is a Staunton native who graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He then went on to Radford University where he earned a degree in English. Following college, Little worked as a newspaper reporter for 3½ years at the Fincastle Herald in Botetourt, where he reported on many criminal cases. Going to court sparked Little’s interest in the law, and he enrolled in law school. Little graduated from the Appalachian School of Law in 2007 and passed the bar a few months later. Little worked as a public defender for 6 months before returning to Staunton and opening his solo practice in 2008.
